Attending the Affordable Food Event, BPS Supports Government Program to Improve Public Welfare

September 2, 2026 | BPS Activities

On Wednesday (September 2), the Head of BPS-Statistics Prabumulih City, Jupni Amnus, attended the "Affordable Food Initiative" (*Gerakan Pangan Murah*) organized by the Prabumulih City Government at the Karang Raja Urban Village Multipurpose Hall in East Prabumulih.

This initiative aims to assist the community in obtaining basic necessities at affordable prices; it is also expected to help maintain price stability for food products in the market.

During the event, the Assistant II to the Prabumulih City Government, Wawan Gunawan AK CA, stated that the Affordable Food Initiative represents a tangible demonstration of the government's concern for the public—specifically regarding the preservation of purchasing power and ensuring the availability of basic necessities at affordable rates.

Participation in this government-led event is expected to further strengthen the collaborative and harmonious relationship between the City Government and BPS-Statistics Prabumulih City.
