The growth of South Sumatra's Medium Large Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in the Second Quarter of 2015 was 5.27 percent

Abstract

The growth of South Sumatra's Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in the Second Quarter of 2015 was 5.27 percent, a slight decline compared to the previous quarter's growth of 6.79 percent.

IBS with the highest growth was the Rubber Industry, Rubber and Plastic Products at 8.67 percent, while the lowest growth was in the Timber, Wood and Cork Industry, and Wicker, Bamboo and Rattan and the like at 1.59 percent.

Nationally, IBS production growth in Quarter II 2015 was 2.34 percent, an increase compared to the previous quarter's growth of minus 0.70 percent.

Production of the South Sumatra Micro Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in the Second Quarter of 2015 experienced a slowdown in growth of minus 6.07 percent, lower than the previous quarter's growth of minus 3.42 percent.

The highest production growth occurred in the Other Transportation Equipment Industry at 11.66 percent, while the lowest production growth occurred in the Motor Vehicle, Trailer and Semi-Trailer Industry at minus 13.79 percent.

South Sumatra's IMK production growth in the second quarter of 2015 was far lower than the national growth which recorded a positive rate of 5.09 percent.
