Abstract

* The value of South Sumatra's exports in January 2016 decreased by 8.57 percent compared to December 2015. Likewise, when compared with the same period in 2015 (January 2015) exports of South Sumatra Province experienced a decrease of 33.12 percent.

* The export value of South Sumatra Province in January 2016 was US $ 160.08 million consisting of oil and gas exports of US $ 16.31 million and US $ 143.77 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.

* The value of South Sumatra's imports in January 2016 was US $ 261.09 million, an increase of 218.51 percent when compared to December 2015.

* Imports of South Sumatra Province in January 2016 amounted to US $ 261.09 million consisting of oil and gas imports of US $ 2.47 million and non-oil and gas US $ 258.61 million.
