Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists visiting foreign tourists in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in May 2016 was 1,201 people. The number of foreign tourists coming to South Sumatra in May 2016 increased by 51.07 percent compared to April 2016.

* Star-level Room Occupancy (TPK) rates in South Sumatra in May 2016 reached an average of 58.18 percent, up 7.22 points compared to the hotel TPK in April 2016 of 50.96 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in May 2016 the ROR for three-star hotels reached 69.07 percent and was the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.

* The average length of stay of foreign guests in May 2016 was 2.92 days, an increase of 1.20 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in April 2016. While the average length of stay of guests of Nusantara / Domestic on the month May 2016 also increased by 0.12 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in April 2016.
