Abstract

• The number of aircraft visits at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport that arrived in August 2020 was 564 flights, an increase of 42.78 percent compared to July 2020. Meanwhile, the number of departures was 666 flights, an increase of 64.04 percent compared to July 2020

• The number of air transport passengers arriving at SMB II Airport in August 2020 is 39,285 people, or an increase of 34.12 percent compared to July 2020 which was 29,290 people. The number of air transport passengers departing at SMB II Airport in August 2020 amounted to 40,467 people, or an increase of 47.63 percent compared to July 2020, which was 27,411 people.

• The number of ship visits in August 2020 was 420 ship visits, consisting of 369 ship visits from within the country and 51 ship visits from abroad. The number of ship visits decreased by 3.00 percent compared to July 2020 which was 433 visits.

• In August 2020 there were no train passengers arriving and departing in South Sumatra because it was still closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cumulatively, train passengers in South Sumatra for the January-August 2020 period reached 269,836 people.
