Abstract

  • The Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) of South Sumatra Province in April 2021 was recorded at 105.36, an increase of 0.35 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The increase in NTP was influenced by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which increased on average by 0.82 percent, while the average Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.47 percent.
  • The increase in NTP in April 2021 was influenced by the increase in NTP in the Plantation sub-sector by 1.10 percent and 1.68 percent in Animal Husbandry. Meanwhile, other sub-sectors that experienced a decline were Food Crops by 2.38 percent, Horticulture 1.65 percent, Fisheries in general 0.18 percent, Capture Fisheries 0.13 percent and Cultivation Fisheries 0.23 percent.
  • In April 2021, in South Sumatra, there was rural inflation of 0.55 percent due to the increase in the average index price in almost all expenditure groups, which increased respectively: Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group which increased by 0.75 percent, Clothing and Footwear 0.63 percent, Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance 0.30 percent, health 0.52 percent, Transportation 0.18 percent, Recreation, Sports and Culture 0.02 percent, Food and Beverage / Restaurant Provision 0 , 48 percent and Personal Care and Other Services 0.32 percent. Meanwhile, the housing, water, electricity and household fuels group experienced a decline of 0.03 percent, while the Information, Communication and Financial Services group also decreased by 0.33. For the Education group there was no change.
  • The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of South Sumatra April 2021 amounted to 106.42, an increase of 0.61 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
