Abstract

- The ITK value of South Sumatra Province in the fourth quarter of 2014 was 102.78, meaning that the economic conditions of consumers increased from the previous quarter. This level of consumer optimism is lower than in quarter III-2014 (ITK value of 112.65)

- Increased consumer economic conditions are driven by increased household income and high levels of consumption of food and non-food commodities, while high inflation affects household food consumption.
