Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists visiting foreign tourists in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in April 2015 was 688 people. The number of foreign tourists coming to South Sumatra in April 2015 decreased by 9.95 percent compared to March 2015.

* Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Sumatra in April 2015 reached an average of 50.78 percent, or a decrease of 4.62 points compared to the hotel TPK in March 2015 of 55.40 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in April 2015 five-star RORs reached 65.53 percent and were the highest ROR of hotels compared to other star-rated hotels.

* The average length of stay of foreign guests in April 2015 was 4.52 days, an increase of 1.18 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in March 2015. The average length of stay of Nusantara / Domestic guests in April 2015 also increased by 0.09 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in March 2015.
