Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists visiting foreign tourists in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in May 2015 was 458 people. The number of foreign tourists coming to South Sumatra in May 2015 decreased by 33.43 percent compared to April 2015.

* Star-level Room Occupancy (TPK) rates in South Sumatra in May 2015 reached an average of 47.26 percent, down 3.52 points compared to the hotel TPK in April 2015 of 50.78 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in May 2015 the three-star ROR of hotels reached 61.66 percent and was the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.

* The average length of stay of foreign guests in May 2015 was 3.37 days which decreased by 1.15 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in April 2015. Whereas the average length of stay of Nusantara / Domestic guests on the month May 2015 also experienced an increase of 0.15 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in April 2015.
