Abstract

ü The growth of production in the South Sumatra Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in the fourth quarter of 2015 was 0.93 percent, a decrease compared to growth in the third quarter of 3.04 percent. On average, IBS production growth in 2015 was 8.83 percent.

 

ü IBS with the highest growth is Food Industry by 1.96 percent, while the lowest growth occurs in the Wood Industry, Wood Products and the like with a growth value of 0.68 percent.

 

ü Nationally, the growth of IBS production in Quarter IV of 2015 was 1.69 percent. While the national growth average in 2015 reached 4.57 percent.


ü The growth of South Sumatra's Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in the fourth quarter of 2015 was 5.24 percent, an increase compared to growth in the third quarter of minus 3.98 percent.

 

ü The highest production growth in the fourth quarter IMK occurred in the YTDL machinery and equipment industry by 11.04 percent, while the lowest production growth occurred in the leather industry, leather goods and footwear were minus 8.78 percent.

 

ü South Sumatra's fourth quarter IMK production growth was higher than the national growth of 1.35 percent. However, the average growth of IMK in South Sumatra in 2015 was minus 7.81 percent, still far lower than the national growth average of 5.71 percent.
