Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists visiting foreign tourists in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in July 2016 was 1,023 people. The number of tourists who came to South Sumatra in July 2016 increased by 77.91 percent compared to June 2016.

* Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Sumatra in July 2016 reached an average of 50.16 percent, up 1.21 points compared to the hotel TPK in June 2016 of 48.95 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in July 2016 five-star RORs reached 63.88 percent and were the highest RORs of hotels compared to other star-rated hotels.
The average length of stay of foreign guests in July 2016 was 3.30 days which decreased by 0.69 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in June 2016. While the average length of stay of guests of Nusantara / Domestic in July 2016 increased by 0.35 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in June 2016
