Abstract

The cumulative economy of South Sumatra Province, which is measured based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, III-2016, reached Rp. 265.45 trillion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp. 199.83 trillion.

    The cumulative economy of the Province of South Sumatra in Q3 / 2016 to the third quarter of 2015 grew 4.92 percent (c-to-c) compared to the same period in 2015 of 4.68 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by Electricity and Gas Procurement of 16.75 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component grew by 9.01 percent.

    The economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the third quarter of 2015 grew 4.78 percent (y-on-y) compared to the same period in 2015 of 4.75 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the procurement of electricity and gas by 31.58 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component grew by 9.23 percent.

    The economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the previous quarter rose to 3.73 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, this growth was caused by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which grew 17.92 percent. While in terms of expenditure, it was caused more by the gross fixed capital formation component which grew 4.50 percent.
