Abstract

  • South Sumatra's NTP in April 2023 rose 1.50 percent compared to last month's NTP, from 103.61 to 105.17.
  • The increase in April 2023 NTP was influenced by the increase in NTP in almost all sub-sectors; Food Crops 0.76 percent, Plantation 1.85 percent, Livestock 1.66 percent, Fisheries 0.89 percent, Capture Fisheries 1.23 percent and Aquaculture 0.36 percent. Meanwhile, NTP in the Horticulture sub-sector fell by 2.59 percent.
  • In April 2023, South Sumatra Province experienced rural inflation of 0.30 percent.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in April 2023 was 103.34 or an increase of 1.41 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
